Student Achievement

Adolfo Camarillo High School received recognition as a California Distinguished School in 1996 and was further honored in 1998 as a National Blue Ribbon School. These honors reflect the combined efforts of our students, staff, parents and community. We offer a varied program that meets the needs of all students, from those who struggle to learn to the most gifted. We are dedicated to raising academic standards in all areas; to increasing our student retention; to maintaining a safe, orderly environment for students, staff and visitors; and to providing the best customer service we can to our community family.

Diversity & Collaboration

We have an active and effective Associated Student Body, various clubs on campus, and a competitive athletic program. We appreciate the culture diversity of our student body, and we celebrate that diversity by offering a number of cultural events throughout the year. Our successes are the result of motivated students, a caring staff, and committed families. Working together equals success for Adolfo Camarillo High School

Academic Growth

With the implementation of the Public Schools Accountability Act of 1998 (PSAA), a school-wide goal is to continue with the success we have experienced on the Stanford 9, the California Academic Performance Index (API), and the High School Exit Exam (a graduation requirement for the class of 2004). In fact, the cornerstones of our site's on-going Local Improvement Plan are:

  • Continued and improved academic success. Maintaining a safe and secure campusCreating an aesthetically pleasing facility that represents our high standards and an environment where our students will want to learn
  • Fostering an academic atmosphere that encourages parent and community involvement
