Name: California Wine Grape Growers Foundation (CWGGF) Scholarship

Criteria: High school Seniors who plan to attend a UC or CSU or a Community College in California in the Fall of 2018 and who have a parent or legal guardian who is/was a vineyard employee of a wine grape grower during the 2017-2018 season. There are two $8,000 awards for students attending a UC or CSU and four $2,000 awards for students attending a California Community College. Name: Robert Miller Scholarship for Viticulure and Enology

Criteria: This scholarship is offered through the Calif. Name: Ventura County Chinese-American Association (VCCAA)  

Criteria: High school Senior planning to attend either a 2 or 4 year college and whose parents may or may not be a member of the VCCAA organization. Being of Chinese descent is not a requirement. Must have a GPA of 3.4 or higher (or 2.5 or higher for the Chinese Language scholarship). Requirements include transcript and two essays, including describing your understanding of the history and culture of Chinese-Americans. Gloria and Joseph Mattera National Scholarship Fund for Migrant Children

Eligibility:  Students with recent history of movement for agricultural employment; scholastic potential; financial need.  A letter of recommendation, personal essay, and a copy of the student’s current or most recent Migrant Education Program Certificate of Eligibility are required.  Awards range from $150-$500.  Application forms are available in the Career Center.
