 * The Geo Bowl is recruiting students for a competition that will take place on November 17 at Oxnard College. It’s a lot of fun.  Being part of this group looks good on college and job applications. This year’s theme: “Our Changing Climate.”  We will be meeting on Tuesdays, during lunch in B-2. * PTSA’s Reflections Contest is underway! If you’d like to produce art, dance, music, writing, photography or other individual creative works to earn money toward college, please see Mr. Storer in room D-1 for entry forms and information. The deadline for all Reflections contest entries is Oct. 12 to room D-1.

* Any students interested in reviving the Manga/Short Story club see Mr. Storer in room D-1 at lunch, nutrition or in between classes.


 * If you are new to Camarillo High School or in a Fall sport and want to compete on a winter sports team, please contact the coach this week to find out a time to tryout.  Visit for coaches’ contact information.  See Mrs. Perez in the front office if you have any questions.

* Varsity athletes who are interested in celebrating Red Ribbon Week at Tierra Linda Elementary School on Wednesday, October 24th from 10:45 to 12:30, please see Mrs. Perez, the Athletic Director, for a field trip form.  First thirty athletes to turn in the form will be selected to represent Camarillo Athletics to hang out with the Tierra Linda kids at their lunchtime and encourage them to make smart choices.
