On Tuesday, ASB will deliver red boxes to any homeroom teacher who requests one. Students can bring in their non-perishable food items. Next Monday, they will be collected and donated to one of our local food pantries. We’ll be counting items to compete with Rio’s collection!
2. Coin Drive for Red Cross
All week, ASB will be in the quad collecting all coins in 5-gallon empty water containers. (As per legal guidelines, none of the money will be deposited into ASB funds–a representative from the Red Cross will be directly collecting the donations). On Friday, AT THE GAME AT RIO, we will have our competing containers of change out for a last push for Red Cross. Whichever site deposits weigh the most wins!
The Bloodmobile will be here on Friday at lunch in the quad for you to literally “get the red out” by donating blood. See Nurse Harris for details as slots are limited.
4. Athletics and ASB
Athletics and ASB has specially designed “Get the Red Out” free t-shirts for Friday’s game. Limited quantity so we’ll let you know how to get them for the game.
5. Door Decorating Contest
On Wednesday, ASB will judge the best door-decoration that most POSITIVELY reflects our “Get the Red Out” week. Keep it focused on “healthy” rivalry.
