This is NOT a school-sponsored or OUHSD event. You will be purchasing tickets directly from Universal and providing your own transportation to the park.

  • Students are allowed to purchase tickets for up to 9 other people (do NOT have to be seniors, can be family members, guests from other schools, etc.).
  • Students CAN ONLY purchase tickets through their account.
  • Students pick their evening to go based on the days offered and availability.

  • Hollywood theme park after 3pm.

If you did not pick up your Cap and Gown on Friday, May 14, they are now in Ms. Pristera’s room (N5).

WHEN: Friday, June 11, 2021 & Monday, June 14, 2021
TIME: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

  • Your attendance for grad practice is mandatory.
  • Seniors will receive their 4 (four) tickets at the mandatory graduation practice. There will be no early distribution of tickets.
  • Please clear your calendar for those dates and times.
  • Mr. Softee will be served for all seniors on Friday, June, 11 after practice.
  • Food trucks will be available for free for all seniors on Monday, June 14, after practice.

Specific details beyond this information will be shared with senior parents and students by Friday, May 28 via Class of 2021 Google classroom and Parentsquare.

EVENT: Graduation Ceremony

WHEN: Tuesday, June 15, 2021

TIME: 4:00 pm

  • Gates open at 2:00 pm

Each student will receive 4-tickets – no exceptions

  • In order to facilitate the check-in process at Commencement on June 15, we have made the adjustment to switch to paper tickets.
  • Seniors will receive their 4 (four) tickets at the mandatory graduation practice. There will be no early distribution of tickets. 
  • You must have your ticket to enter. 
    •  All guests will need a ticket (this includes children of all ages).
  • You do not have to sit with everyone in your ticket group.
  • Masks are mandatory in the stadium, regardless of Ventura County or State of California COVID guidelines on 6/15.


  • There will be handicapped parking.
    • If any of your 4 ticketholders are in need of handicapped parking and has a state-issued handicapped license plate or hanging tag, please email with your student’s name and the make/model of the vehicle.
    • Handicapped parking will be in the upper parking lot, in front of the pool facing the stadium.
  • Parking is in upper and lower and only two gate entrances-lower and upper.
    • For safety reason, there will not be an entry point near the Santa Rosa gate.
  • You cannot come earlier than 2:00 pm and reserve seating.
    • Any items placed in the stadium to reserve seating will be removed. 
    • Please observe any areas that are cordoned off. 


  • All bags will be checked before entering the stadium.
  • Prohibited items will be confiscated.
    • These include, but are not limited to, airhorns, confetti, bigheads, balloons, weapons, etc.
  • It is recommended, but not required that your personal items be placed in a clear plastic carrier for entrance.
  • Security will be monitoring the stadium area. If any prohibited items are seen throughout the ceremony, they will be confiscated.

  • Umbrellas will be allowed for sitting in the stands prior to the ceremony.  At 4:00 p.m. sharp when the ceremony begins all umbrellas or shade assistance needs to be taken down.
  • No balloons will be allowed into the stadium.



  • Each chair on the field will have a water bottle. Students are recommended to drink a lot of water prior to the event. If they want to bring additional water they can in a hydra flask (they will be examined prior to entry into the room).
  • Students are not allowed to bring anything other than their hydra flask to the field. We recommend they do not bring their cell phone to the class room as they will not be allowed on the field. We will have the rooms locked, however the recommendation is still to not bring them to the room.
  • Students should be at their classrooms as early as 2:30 p.m. but no later than 2:45 p.m. We will begin lining up at 3:15 p.m. Plan ahead of time to get here early (traffic, lack of parking, etc.).

With Covid restrictions we will not be able to have families on the field following the graduation this year. So that you can take pictures in front of the ACHS on the field, we are opening the stadium from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 14th. You can take your own pictures or take advantage of Legends Photography that will have a professional option available for purchase if you would like.

Following the ceremony your students will be returning to pick up their belongings in their assigned classroom. You can then arrange to meet them on the main campus to take pictures.

Graduation Cap Decorating

  • Caps are allowed to be decorated.
  • It must be one-dimensional and have either a positive message, thank you, or represents your next journey (college, military, etc.).
  • If cap decorations do not follow the guidelines, they will be confiscated before the ceremony and there are no replacements.
    • If you are unsure, either don’t decorate your cap or send a picture BEFORE Tuesday, June 15 to Ms. Pristera at for verification.

Dress Code

  • Gowns will be zipped up at all times.

Masks must be worn throughout the ceremony.

For the graduates, your mask can be removed for the picture with the professional photographer and the picture with Mr. La Belle (should you feel comfortable taking it off in both those situations).

Senior Memories

2021 yearbooks are now $90.

Buy them on campus with the ASB bookkeeper: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.
They are also sold online at the ACHS Webstore.

Yearbooks are expected to arrive before the end of the school year.

Senior T-shirts are on sale for $15.00 with Ms. Boyle in portable BT1.

End-of-the-Year Responsibilities

Senior Finals will be on the following days:

  • Wednesday, June 9th – Period 1 & Period 2
  • Thursday, June 10th – Period 3 & Period 4

Both days are regular school days. Seniors will attend all classes (Period 1 – 4) on each day.

In order to receive your DIPLOMA and/or WALK in the GRADUATION CEREMONY, all seniors must complete and drop off the ACHS Senior Graduation Checkout Form to Ms. Resnik in the Library or Mrs. Valles in the Textbook Room by due Friday, June 11, by 3:30 p.m.

Seniors will receive their check-out forms  via digital link (see above) or hard copy in A-1.

  • Seniors will have Monday, June 7th through Friday, June 11th to get the various signatures.
    • Seniors must return all textbooks, return Chromebook and charger, and pay for all outstanding obligations in order to be cleared to graduate.
  • Forms must be turned in by Friday, June 11, at 3:30 p.m. in the Library OR Textbook Room.

Chromebooks are available to purchase for $40. Purchasing your Chromebook is a 2-step process. Fill out the following:


  • From June 24th – June 30th available from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., devices may be purchased. Bring $40 CASH ONLY to  the ASB Bookkeeper, Mrs. Boyle. Please contact Mrs. Boyle at (805) 389-6428 or email at
    • June 30th is the last day to purchase device!!!

The Senior Survey is a mandatory part of the senior check out process. Bring your Graduation Checkout Form to the College and Career Center by Thursday, June 10th. The center will be closed on June 11th.

  • Seniors are required to submit it in order to participate in graduation and pick up their diploma.

Diplomas for graduating seniors will be distributed by all counselors in the lower parking lot on Wednesday, June 16th from 8:30 – 10:00 AM.

  • When you pick up your diploma, please park your car and walk up to the table that correlates with the first letter of your last name.
  • Be prepared to show some form of identification.
  • If you would like, please wear the future college or military gear of your choice!



Senior Google accounts will be suspended this summer.  Once suspended, you will no longer have access to your files, emails, etc.  You can transfer your items over to a personal Gmail account using a feature called Google Takeout.
