Rehearsals are mandatory. Attendance will be taken. Water will be provided; however, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that students bring their own hydro flask. Please wear a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Rehearsals are Friday, May 31st from 8:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Monday, June 3rd from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  If necessary, we will have an additional rehearsal on Tuesday, June 4th from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Friday, by 8:45 a.m. park in the lower lot and report to the gym - warm breakfast item will be provided. There are activities in the gym and then we’ll report to the field for rehearsal, and then, senior activities are directly afterward on practice field. Monday, report to the area behind the gym by 10:00 a.m. - breakfast provided.

If, for whatever reason, students are absent at rehearsals, the student's seat will be assigned by Ms. Pristera. Mr. La Belle is permitting students to sit where they wish. Valedictorians and Distinguished Honors students will have assigned seating in the front rows.

Therefore, if students are not present, there are no “saving seats” for friends, or asking for a  special request, regardless of the reason for your absence. If students are absent, you will be  notified of your seat row and number via email on Friday, June 2nd. Students must check their email.

Graduation
Date & Time Tuesday, June 4th at 5:30 p.m.
Location ACHS Stadium
Tickets

Students will receive their six tickets after rehearsals either Friday, May 31st or Monday, June 3rd. They will not be distributed before this – no exceptions. Students will have their ID bar code scanned and it will be recorded that they receive their tickets. Do not lose them – once they are in the student's possession, there are no more. The student's family cannot enter without them. No parent or family member will be permitted to pick them up for the student.

Parking Gates will open at 3:30 p.m. The only gates that will be open to enter the stadium will be from the upper lot and the lower lot.  For safety reasons, there will not be an entry point near the Santa Rosa gate.  Bags will be checked by security upon entrance.  No food will be allowed into the stadium, only water.
Seating

Umbrellas will be allowed for sitting in the stands prior to the ceremony.  At 5:30 p.m. sharp, the ceremony will begin and all umbrellas or shade assistance needs to be taken down.

No balloons, air horns, flags, large signs (including bigheads of your student) will be allowed into the stadium. In essence, anything that disrupts the view and enjoyment of the families behind and around you. These items will be confiscated at the gate and you can pick them up after the ceremony.

Ceremony

Students will be in the gym by 3:15 p.m., but no later than 4:00 p.m. Students will be checked for proper cap decoration and other items. All cell phones and personal items will be collected and stored in a paper bag in the gym in a box at the end of the student's row. Ceremony begins at 5:30 p.m. sharp.  Students and staff will head down the hill at 5:00 p.m.

Stoles - Students can only wear the ACHS stoles that came in their package. The only exception is ASB Cabinet and Senior Class Cabinet who will wear both stoles. Students can wear the cords they received from their organizations.

During the ceremony – If students have any items that they are not supposed to have, they will be confiscated by the teacher at the end of their row, or an administrator who will be roaming.

After  Ceremony

There will be no gathering on the field after the ceremony. The graduates will immediately depart to the gym and retrieve their items. Students will arrange to meet their family members anywhere outside of the gym.
